Co-op Give Cards help generate $200,000 donation

Thanks to the generous support of our members and customers, Co-op will donate $200,000 to the Canadian Red Cross in January, 2019.

The first annual Co-op Give Card campaign saw the launch of holiday-edition CO-OP™ Gift Cards in participating locations between November and December, 2018. For every Give Card sold, Co-op committed to donate $1 to the Canadian Red Cross, to a maximum of $250,000. 

Sales from the promotion’s first year will allow Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL), on behalf of the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS), to make a total donation of $200,000 to the Canadian Red Cross. True to the Co-op spirit, every dollar donated will stay in Western Canada to support disaster management and emergency response services.

The Co-op Give Card campaign will return to stores in November 2019.
